Dylan Levers, 2009

Dylan Stephen Levers is an NYC-based filmmaker.

His short film “this is a film about tom and maddy.” screened internationally, was selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick, and was curated on NoBudge.com.

Prior to making films, Dylan worked as a theater director. His original works include Opus No. 2 (at space on white) and 18 Paintings (at HERE Arts Center). He directed works by Jordan Harrison, Tina Howe and Jona Tarlin and mentored teen playwrights through MCC’s Youth Company.

In 2009, Dylan was an EMERGENYC Artist-Activist Fellow at NYU’s Hemispheric Institute, and in 2011, he was a member of Lincoln Center Theater’s Directors Lab. From 2014 to 2015, he co-curated Videology’s Local Filmmaker Showcase.
