Linus Ignatius 2017

Linus Ignatius, 2017

Linus Ignatius is a queer Armenian-American filmmaker and a proud third culture kid. Born to journalist parents, Linus grew up in various countries and inhabited the role of the outsider, constantly learning new languages and social structures. After film school in the Czech Republic, Linus directed large scale immersive events in Berlin before getting sober and committing to filmmaking. Now, Linus tells stories about rebels, making work with strong LGBTQ+ leanings and addressing the ongoing HIV epidemic. Linus’ most recent project, an indie web series called “Marque and Hector Turn Trash into Treasure”, is their first foray into comedy.
